SCHOOL CONSTRUCTION

SCHOOL CONSTRUCTION PROJECT – ZOMBA, MALAWI

We have begun construction of our new school project in the Zomba region of Malawi, consisting of both primary and secondary school levels, to provide our children with better conditions for education.

PROJECT DETAILS

16 CLASSROOMS:
In the region, classrooms are often extremely overcrowded, with some reaching up to 100 students. We have designed spacious classrooms with an initial capacity of at least 36 students, aiming to provide a more comfortable and high-quality learning environment. At the same time, we have prepared a flexible design that allows classroom capacities to be increased in the future to meet the high demand in the area.

ADMINISTRATIVE AND SUPPORT AREAS:
The school campus includes a teachers' room, a principal's office, and storage areas.

SAFE COURTYARD DESIGN:
To ensure the safety of the children and allow school activities to be carried out comfortably, the school has been designed around a central courtyard. The courtyard connects to the main entrance on one side, the toilet facilities on another, and a prayer room (masjid) on the other.

CLIMATE-FRIENDLY ARCHITECTURE:
All classroom entrances face the courtyard. Considering the region's hot climate, balconies and shaded areas have been incorporated into the design to prevent classrooms from overheating and provide children with a cooler and more comfortable learning environment.
